I’ve been collecting records for 25 years, and while it’s nice that people are into vinyl again, it’s made it so the price of used vinyl has been steadily rising. As such, I’ve begun collecting, what I’d considered, the best dollar bin records you can find.
Over the past two nights I watched the Carl Franklin films Devil in a Blue Dress (1995) and One False Move (1992). The still above is from the former and shows Denzel Washington the moment he knows he made a bad decision to get involved aiding a private detective in a missing person’s case. The wonderful cinematography of Tak Fujimoto on full display here as Denzel is enveloped by the screen’s darkness.
Franklin is incredible slept on and should be a household name. I will expand on this when I have some more time, but for now, we here at PseudoIntellectualsDotOrg highly recommend these movies.
